We decided to take a family picture to show off the boys' new haircuts in the front yard while the lilacs were in bloom a couple of weeks ago. Our yard is gorgeous right now! We've got bunches of roses blooming, and for a couple of weeks we had some really pretty iris blooming. It's so awesome to drive up to our house and think, "Wow, we actually get to live someplace this pretty!" Isaac has been loving the flowers. He calls them "pretties", and loves to go outside with me when I clip off the old blooms so that he can get a couple of them. He'll carry them around with him the rest of the day, sniff them every once-in-a-while and say "yummy".
